Cheesy Baked Turkey Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 190C / 170C Fan / Gas 5.
Place the turkey mince in a bowl and add the breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, 50g of grated Dubliner Lighter Red, oregano salt and pepper. Mix to combine and form into 20 meatballs.
Place a large frying pan on a high heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the meatballs and fry for 3-4 minutes to brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Take a medium sized oven-proof dish and pour in the jar of tomato sauce, spreading across the bottom of the dish. Arrange the browned meatballs in the dish. Transfer to the oven to bake for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove from the oven and sprinkle over the remaining grated cheese. Place back in the oven to cook for a further 5 minutes or until melted and golden. Scatter with basil leaves to serve.
